⏱ 27 minutes into the incident
Most monitoring tools tell you something is broken. They don't tell you why.
A deployment went out and broke something
Recent changes are the most common cause — and the hardest to connect to an alert.
A dependency is degraded
An ISP fiber cut, a slow API, a silent vendor outage — upstream problems that look like your problem.
Maintenance nobody told you about
Scheduled work happening somewhere in the stack — invisible until something breaks.
Seismo gives your engineer the probable cause before they finish opening their laptop — so the bridge gets shorter, management gets answers faster, and customers notice less.
The Founder

Veda Hegde
Founder & CEO
Veda has spent 15+ years building infrastructure that powers how we communicate and consume media — from early VoIP and IPTV systems at Time Warner Cable (now Charter Communications) to streaming media and cloud transformations at SiriusXM.
That background in high-availability, high-scale systems — where a misconfiguration affects millions of subscribers and a fiber cut means a city loses service — shaped how she thinks about reliability. Not as a dashboard problem. As an engineering problem.
She built Seismo because the investigation problem she saw on incident bridges was solvable. The tools just weren't solving it.
How We Think
Monitoring that gets smarter with every incident.
Most tools are static. They alert on the same thresholds, the same rules, forever. They don't learn from your incidents. They don't get better over time.
Continuous signals
Baseline patterns, traffic anomalies, BGP shifts, and dependency health — learned automatically.
Engineer labels
Every resolved alert feeds back into the model. Deploy, dependency, internal, false positive.
Smarter over time
The system that monitors your infrastructure today is smarter than the one you onboarded with.
We call it the data flywheel. Continuous learning from signals, refined by engineer input.
Advisory Board
We're building a team of advisors with deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, enterprise infrastructure, AI/ML infrastructure, and B2B SaaS.
